When Localist was born, universities from across the country immediately recognized its ability to keep students engaged while making it easy for staff to announce and promote events.

But Localist is as versatile as it is powerful; we also work with customers in healthcare, non-profit, media, associations and more.

Today we launch our new homepage that tells the story of these new industries, and how adding a social calendar to a website can be a compelling way to solve issues like event attendance, awareness, and budgeting.

We have learned a lot working in higher education. It gives us an unparalleled view of what works, and what doesn’t, when it comes to effectively managing events. We’re applying those same lessons to other types of organizations so they can be just as successful with their events.
