A few months ago, we launched a revamped default theme for our customers, allowing them to better incorporate their brands into their calendars. Although the look and feel has changed, Localist’s core layout has remained the same due to years of proven effectiveness.
If you’ve already forgotten what the legacy default looked like, here’s a refresher:
Today we’d like to highlight two customers who’ve converted their platforms to the new theme, while still keeping their brand front and center. First up, East Carolina University who has been using Localist since November 2012. The ECU team opted for clean lines with sharp square images and subtle shadows framing their event listings. Shifting from old to new was made easy with Localist’s built-in customization interface, so applying ECU’s signature purple was only a few clicks away.
Next, we have Quinnipiac University who have been using Localist since July of 2014. The Quinnipiac team transitioned seamlessly by striking a balance between their “before and after.” Pairing their homepage tab buttons with listings that now have a pop of brightness has made this new look a success.
